Founded by Joyce Abraas, UNIQ Bridles a solutions-oriented brand that emerged from the visionary quest for a bridle that fits all the need of the horse and rider. Every horse is unique, every horse’s head is different in length and width. That makes the search for a bridle that fits well in all areas not very easy. By working closely with riders from various disciplines, we continue to innovate with our products to meet the needs of the horses.

We are convinced that every horse deserves a perfectly fitting bridle, and this enables us to achieve a better performance with our horses in a sustainable way. Together we can spread the message that we perform our sport in a horse-friendly way.

Behind the Brand

UNIQ Bridles has inherited its namesake from Joyce’s homebred mare Something Unique. Joyce began her journey as a Bridlefitter with different kinds of brands, struggling to find great quality bridles that also provide the right customer services, she decided to investigate the possibilities of her own product. Finding the right factory that understand the vision that Joyce has wasn’t easy, but in the end, they found the right partner that could provide good Italian leather and soft sheepskin for the padding. The experienced craftsmen make sure that all components meet Joyce’s high technical requirements.

In addition to the comfort for the horse, rider’s personal wishes in the design are an important part. Thanks to the Swarovski® crystals we can embellish the browband, bridle and other products with high-quality crystals.
